Risks - "SPAMMING"

Definition by SPAMHAUS

The spam indicates the sending in mass of not requested emails, it can also relate to the case where the sending recipient and context are not relevant compared to the message, or simply when a recipient did not grant the permission explicit and still revocable of a sending.

The "spammer king", an american, have a base of 150 million email addresses.

Spamhaus also draws up, starting from its black lists and its data base Rokso (Register Of Known Spam Operations), a monthly classification of the ten countries from which these nondesired messages are dispatched (the top five: United States, China, South Korea, Brazil, Argentina); a classification of ten Internet domains at the origin of the greatest number of forwardings (ARIN, uu.net, kornet.net, telesp.net .br, level3.net, etc) but also a list of the ten larger identified spammers.

According to this classification, the “spammer king” is American: Alan Ralsky, contractor in Michigan. Attacked in 2001 by the supplier of Verizon access, Ralsky will be left there the following year by regulating its lawsuit by friendly agreement, against a check (not revealed nap) and its promise which it will not spammer any more? via Verizon only…

As the end of December the NewYork Times noted it, which interviewed him like a curious animal, Ralsky became curiously quiet since the promulgated federal law anti-spam on December 16 in United States. This accustomed “offshore” center-relay (in particular in China) is anxious risks incurred from now on (up to 6 million dollars and 5 years of prison closes), but he did not say his last spam. Its data base counts, says it, 150 million addresses. Its personal record: 70 million spams in only one day.
